Default When will we be able to mark posts as "ANSWERED"?

    Hello folks,
The new forums have been around for a while now. Certain promises (re-introducing an overhauled version of the MVP point structure, marking forums as answered, etc.) have been made but so far not implemented.
When will we be able to mark forum posts as "Answered"? When will the MVP structure be back?
    Kind Regards,

When we have a good ETA on when that function will be delivered, we'll announce it. We promised and we will deliver. But we do understand that it can be frustrating since it's taken so long. We have to deliver something better because the old "answered" system was not used a large majority of the time. If we cannot make that function work with the vBulletin system then we will bring in a new application that can. Thanks for your patience.

Esri - Take a look at the StackOverflow structure.

Their kudos system is very attractive and based on some very fair rules.

There family of sites are more aimed at providing specific Questions with associated specific answers (ordered by best answer). The difference is, this is a forum (big difference) and should remain that way (to promote discussion over answers).
However, if we can integrate a similar style of reputation system, I think it will both attract people to help each other, and also for it to become a good place to search for answers. I still primarily search the old forums for answers at this stage as it yields a larger archive of Q+As

We agree, thanks for the feedback. We would like to preserve the ability to support conversations but at the same time allow logged in users to apply points to particularly helpful responses; senior users and MVPs higher weight also.

So how do you mark a forum post that answered your question. Is this still not available?
