    Default problem in opening any tool of "arctool box"

    When i am going to open any tool of 'arc tool box' in arc map,I am prompted with an error of

    "One or More ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:

    1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
    page,
    or
    2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.

    As a result, the page may not display correctly."


    then when i click at ok nothing is display in inside the window of arc toolbox so i can't give input feature to do work.I have search in internet and try many things but nothing solved my problem so my last hope is this forum.Could anybody plz help me out from this problem?

    Hello - I have tried all of the fixes listed and I am still having issues with the ActiveX controls, especially when attempting to run spatial statistic tools in the the arctoolbox.

    I am running ArcGIS 9.3 build 1770 on a Windows 7 PC.

    Nicole,

    You've not given us much to work with. Are there specific errors that you receive? Do you have error logging enabled? Is your version of Windows 7 32 or 64 bit, fully updated? And it is very important how you deal with UAC with Vista and Windows 7 installation. Plenty of best practice suggestions on the forum.

    Also, note that the ArcGIS 9.3 is getting a bit dated, any reason you've not applied SP1?
    None the less, please try to document your ActiveX problem a bit more completely and we'll see if we can help.

    I am having sort of the same problem. I do not get any error.
    When I click on any of the tools. The input window appear blank (see attachment)

    Any thoughts?

    Windows XP (SP3)
    ArcGIS 9.3.1 (SP2)
