Question can ArcGis work in a netbook?

    Hello everyone,

I just bought a netbook made by Gateway, it has the following configuration:

    •Intel® Pentium® processor U5600
    Features a 3MB L3 cache and 1.33GHz processor speed.
    •3GB DDR3 memory

    320 gb hd
runs on windows 7 home premium 64 bit

Does anyone know if I will be able to instal any type of arcgis product?

    thank you for your time.

Question Re: can ArcGis work in a netbook?

thank you for your link. But I'm still a little confused about the hardware capability; it seems that I cannot run ArcGis in a machine with processor speed lower than 2.2 GHz, but I presently run it on my notebook which has processor speed of 1.8 GHz.

    thank you,
    Eloisa

I do not think that there is anything in the ESRI software which enforces minimum hardware requirements. All they do is to recommend a minimial configuration, i.e. if you have performance issues and are running less than this configuration then it is your problem.
