Default How to migrate 9.3 plugin to 10.0.195.0

    Hi
I am a C# developer and I created one plugin for my client when he was on 9.3 version, Now he migrated to new version 10.0.195.0 , I developed the previous plugin in C# 3.5 which worked great.
I need to migrate that to new versoin but I am unable to understand how. if I compile the same dll file and put it in plugins folder even then it does not display.

is there any new way to develop the plugin ?

    Best Regards

    Hello Rizwan,

Presuming your customer has moved to the online version, the plugin architecture is completely different. So you'll need to get the sdk from the resource center ... http://resources.arcgis.com/gallery/file/arclogistics

Feel free to post any questions you have here.

While it might not be good news to rewrite things, the online version does allow a better integration. For example, instead of just a button bar with tools you can add tabs, panels, tasks, buttons, etc. which will look identical to the "stock" items.

    Hi Jeff
Thanks for reply. Is there any way I can mark your reply as "Answer" which may help other while searching that there is an answer available for selected Question.
I am new to this forum but using other sites , they offer "Mark as Answer" and that helps in finding solutions more quickly.
