Legend control item order

Is there a simple way to reverse the order of layer items appearing in the Legend control without affecting the contents of the associated map?

Hi Elvin -- you can use the LayerIDs property of the Legend to specify the order the layers should appear. See http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgismobi...~LayerIDs.html for more details.

I already use the Layer ID for another purpose to associate the layer with a document identifer.

But I will study the information provided to see if what else I can come up with.
