    Default icons in infrastructure editing toolbar missing

    Recently, our IT dept renamed my user profile in windows (I'm on windows 7). They also set the my documents folder to be shared from a central server. I lost my Normal.mxt in the process, but was able to recover it from a saved image they had. However, whenever I load ArcMap, all of the tools in both the infrastructure editing and reporting toolbars show up labeled as Missing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. I tried deleting all the folders that I know to be associated with it with no success.

    We logged in under a fresh profile (the Admin profile...I have full admin rights on mine though) and tried installing there. I brought up ArcMap and the tools all showed up.

    Does anyone have any idea what to do here?

    Hi Robert,

    Maybe it is a good time to issue a ticket with Esri Tech Support. You could also publish on the http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/5-Ar...esktop-General and http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/7-Ar...-Configuration where you can get more people looking at your problem.

    I will have to agree with Alexey, please log a tech support incident. They are best prepared to handle these situations.

    It appears as though it has something to do with me getting switched to a roaming profile. Still not sure how to fix it, but I've figured out that if I log in via my local profile, all is well again.
