In ArcGIS Server, occasionally there is DCOM connection error. I understand that this could be resolved by opening ports > 1024. If this is the case, how can this be done?
If not, any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

How are is the error being returned? Is it from a java client call? Where are you seeing a DCOM error?
