Export terrain as image

Is it possible to export the terrain as an heightmap from python ?

I did not find nothing on the docs...

Is this scheduled to appear in a new release?
I'm asking because it seems very similar to the functionality that exists for all the other export types (ce.export() -- FBXExportModelSettings,
FBXExportTerrainSettings, etc, etc)
It seems a small detail that keeps these processes from being completely streamlined...

On something unrelated:
- is there a place where I should report bugs that I find? For example, the bug on the export wizard for terrain images, when on Linux.
Should report these kind of things here, on the forum, or is there a specific place??
