Hi,

I'm a Master's student looking to see if ArcGIS would have some handy tools to use for my research. Currently, I had a polygon shape file with building outlines for the city of Toronto. I've populated each of the building outlines with an estimated heating load. I'm wondering if ArcGIS has the capability or a quick tool (preferably) to do an analysis which tries to find the best location (least distance to most load) built in. I haven't thought of the specific algorithm yet but something that creates a weight based on the size of the load and then applies it to the GPS coordinates of each building outline to create a point that is optimal. Given enough time, maybe this could even consider the road network as the shortest path since that is more practical. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
