Thread: Why does the console not throw back exception stacks? am i missing something? r11.2

I'm finding that I run a script that has an error in it but it appears the exception that is being thrown is not being passed back into the console.
It just sits there silently, it makes debugging very difficult.

Am I missing a way to turn this type of feedback on?

nope nothing gets pushed into the log either..

simple:

ce=CE()
selection=ce.selections()

execute.. in the console
there's no feedback, nothing to the log either its silent

put it in a script import it and execute nothing in the log either..

Incorrect,that errors, there is a difference between:

ce.selections() which should error and spew a stacktrace
and
ce.selection() which would collect the selection in a variable that would print if printed
