    Arrow Operational Layer Rotation

I have a Base map that displays in my Flex Viewer at the same rotation set up in the .mxd
My issue is the Operational Layer doesn't rotate and displays in the viewer at an odd angle.
The .mxd I used to create the feature map service is rotated at the same angle, but that doesn't carry through to the viewer.

So... How do you rotate an Operational Layer?

Okay... here is a work around answer...
Just Edit and select the entire layer, then rotate it so it lines up with the Base map.
Save and Restart the Map Service, Done!.... Sort of.

There must be a better way, but this will do for now. It's just, I can't use the layer in other maps that aren't rotated.

    Talking Re: Operational Layer Rotation

The above work around works only at the initial zoom scale. Once you zoom in on the map the operational layer
    is off...
Feels like I'm talking to myself here. Any Ideas anyone?

    Lightbulb Re: Operational Layer Rotation

    Dave,

The lack of response is because Operational Layer and Basemaps are Flex Viewer concepts and you are in the Flex API forum, not the Flex Viewer forum. There is no support for map or layer rotation is the other reason no one is responding.

Just because it's not the answer you want, does not mean that it is not the answer.

    Thanks Robert,

So I guess I'll have to keep basemap and operational layers at the same rotation.
I'll post this on the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex forum as well.
