Getting different counts based on whether we have return geometry or not...

We are using a rest service and have a spatial query that returns a different number of items based on the whether return geometry is true of false? Everything else is the exact same

any hints as to why?

I am not aware of this issue. If you're able to verify that you can run the query outside Silverlight app, you can post to ArcGIS Server forum http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/11-A...erver-REST-API. Let them know what version of server you are running. Also share with them what other parameters were set. If they are identical besides ReturnGeometry, I don't see why they would return different count.

This is not from Silverlight... we did first notice it when running the Silverlight Map and caught it in fiddler... but then we started running directly against the rest api in a browser outside of silverlight.... That is where we got results below.

Thank you for this post. Can you log an incident with ESRI Support for this issue? Please provide any sample data that can be used to repro this issue.
