Pivot map, so that a selected point is at bottom of moving map

I have a GPS navigation scenario where a selected point needs to be at the bottom / center of the map.
Over time (each second or so) the map is updated, with the point's location and bearing also changing.

I need to pivot the map on the selected point as it changes location and bearing, keeping it in its center / bottom location with each update.

I saw this thread, but was not real clear on what was going on, so wasn't sure how it could help.

Depending on location and bearing of your point, you can change the rotation of the map (see doc) and pan the map (see doc).

thanks for the reply.

i have set the selected point to be at the bottom / center of the screen. and can panTo it.
but whenever i rotate the map i lose it all.

for example:
when i initially zoom to the point i can place the point at the bottom / center of the map by tweaking the YMax & YMin.
but when i rotate the map (say to 90 degrees), the point then ends up on the left side of the screen.
i need to be able to set the pivot point of the map to be the point, rather than the center of the map.

is there some way to change the Map.Rotation pivot point to be that of my selected MapPoint?

ok ... i think i have a working test version ... not pretty, but all there.

one more thing, is there any direct way to force the selected point be at the bottom center at all times?
right now, i am just tweaking the minx,maxx,miny,maxy of the envelope.
it would be nice if there was a cleaner way.
