Question “Identify” tool on Desktop\Web applications,

    “Identify” tool on Desktop\Web applications

I’m wondering if the “Identify” tool available on the desktop application can be enhanced to have the same capacity as the one available on the web application

On the Web application, clicking anywhere on the map provides the values of all layers at that point instead of just having the value of one layer (the default behavior of the identity of the desktop)

    How this might be done?

    Thank you

Jamal, you can change the default behavior of the Identify tool in ArcMap by choosing Customize\ArcMap Options from the menu bar at the top. Under the General TAB is an option for the Identify tool that allows you to have it display "Visible layers", "All layers" etc.

There are many other options there that can adjust the behavior of tools in ArcMap. Have a look around to see if there is anything else you want to adjust.

Thank you very much Marco for the efforts. That’s great to be able to switch the default.
