When will be available the File Geodatabase API?

Dear friends,

Anybody know then will be available the Geodatabase API? I hear about it before ArcGIS 10, and the announcement of this with this version.

If anybody tell us any notice? I great you.

The File Geodatabase API is currently under development and we hope to have it available by the end of the year.

Is there any notice about the actual/future content of this API? I heard that only would be editing primary entities (points - polylines - polygons - tables). And another items would be read-only.

Would be recommended to have some documentation to take any references in any aspects related to this API.

The File Geodatabase C++ API will support:

• Read/write access to points, lines, polygons and tables.
• Basic schema creation and query.
• Simple spatial (envelope) search and attribute search.

Thanks for your interest in the File Geodatabase API. The beta program for the File Geodatabase API is currently planned to begin by mid-January.
